Peter Ponzol discovered a new material for his Custom jazz saxophone mouthpieces.  This was in an effort to offer another option to those saxophone players who no longer wanted to use hard rubber or ebonite due to sulfur content, The material is Delrin, a high-tech plastic that the FDA has approved as food grade, and which has many other qualities which make it a great option for mouthpieces in addition to hard rubber. It also makes a perfect mouthpiece for those who don't like metal but want a modern mouthpiece with a similar response and sound. Available in multiple openings for soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone. Includes Rovner ligature and cap.
